Ruth 1:16
“But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. I will go wherever you go and live wherever you live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”

Ruth was from a land not related to Israel.
She married a man that was from Israel though - but he died. Ruth learned to LOVE the God of Israel. She decided to move to Bethlehem so she could stay with the Gods people. She met a man who loved God in Bethlehem. She married him, and had a baby named Obed.

Ruth made a choice to stay with Naomi, and moved far away from the land she grew up in.
Ruth said she wanted to do so - because she wanted Naomi’s God & people to be her God & people.
This decision made a large impact on her life! She was cared for and protected by the Jewish customs & she was blessed greatly!
May you choose to follow Jesus & be in fellowship with other believers - growing and moving in the right direction closer to God

Father God,
