Bethlehem
Luke 2:4
And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee.
Bible Readings
Bethlehem is an ancient city in Israel. Joseph and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem from Nazareth because the current ruler had ordered them to. (Using a car it would take you almost 3 hours to drive from Bethlehem to Nazareth). There is a prophecy about a star that would shine bright, and when it did, the King of Israel would be born in the City of David, which is Bethlehem.
